1. What is the origin of Bio Extratus concentrated keratin?
Keratin used in this product is extracted from sheep's wool.
2. What is the concentration of Bio Extratus keratin?
The concentration of the ingredients and how to make the product are under industrial secrecy. What we can say is that the ingredients contained in the formula are in the concentration necessary for the hair to benefit from their properties.
3. Does Keratin cause any effects for its overuse?
The hair fiber, when subjected to injury, loses some of its keratin, leaving electrically charged empty spaces (active sites). These active sites are where keratin binds itself, reconstructing the hair fiber. In a healthy hair, where there are very few active sites, the quantity of keratin binding the fiber is small, then the excess will be discarded.
In some chemically treated hair, where damage of the fiber is more severe, the use of keratin product can give a hard and rough aspect to the hair due to the large fiber reconstruction done at one go. This aspect disappears with continued use of the treatment (usually after the third application) or with the use of a deep moisturizing product after the application of keratin.
4. How much does Keratin yield?
Bio Extratus concentrated keratin is considered to be professional. It can be diluted with water to achieve a greater yield.
CAUTERIZATION: dilute 10 mL / 0.3 fl. oz. of keratin in 20 mL / 0.6 fl. oz. of water, then spray on damp hair and cauterize.
HYDRATION: add a teaspoon to the deep hydration cream, apply to the hair and let stand according to the instructions of the deep hydration cream. Rinse.
